Title: Internal AG Temperature
Post by: tcope12 on August 23, 2010, 04:10:27 PM
I'm wondering why this device monitors it's own internal temperature. Will excessive heat damage it... and if so, what is the operating temp range of the device?

The Temperature range is 0F to 160F.
It has an internal temperature sensor to alert users when they expose UltraGauge to temperature near the maximum temperature.  Many GPS devices have a like feature.

Thanks for the info and FAST response. Good info and GREAT feature. I have a few GPS units and none have a temp warning... which they really should. Also nice that the temp alarm can be set (from what I read). Ordered mine yesterday and looking forward to getting it.
