Title: Calibration is way off

Im very new to this instrumentation. I thought it would be very plug and play. I have a 2000 Mustang GT with a 4.6L engine. I did the factory scan and input that it is a 4.6 liter engine but the Ultra Gauge has over calculated my mileage. My average mileage that the Ultra Gauge said was 38.8mpg but I actually got 32.3mpg. That's a pretty big difference.

What can I do to get the Ultra Gauge dialed in better?

Follow the Calibration procedures shown on pages 30 and 31 in the User Manual.
