Custom Mounting / Re: Custom mount...
« on: September 07, 2011, 12:06:26 AM »
Thank you!!!

That's the exact same colored dash as mine too. Is there a step by step direction manual for this? Aren't there already screws inside the holes?

I'm not sure how to even make the mount.... :-\

Your help is most appreciative!

Either on the sterring column, just below the odometer as there is that little notch/space there to allow the wheel to be tilted up is the only place I could find...

Which locations would you recommend??? I need all of the help I can get here, lol. Also, needing help finding or making a custom mount.

Thanks!

Custom Mounting / Re: Custom mount...

Hey guys,

cannot seem to find any custom mounts online or to buy for my UltraGauge. I have a 2001 Toyota Camry and my mounting locations are limited.

I don't like the windshield mount it comes with and the velcro isn't all that, so I am looking to create a custom mounting device to hold my UltraGauge and a location to mount it. I do not even know where to begin and the available custom mounts online were specifically made for their particular vehicle, and without instructions.

Any suggestions, tips, comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

P.S.-I'm not sure if photos of my dash would help or not...

General Discussion / Fuel economy improvements
« on: August 21, 2011, 09:16:27 PM »
Hello everyone,

I ordered my first UltraGuage EM, so now I am awaiting its arrival.

I was curious how much other user's fuel economy has improved since using their UltraGuage?

I am getting 34 MPG combined in my 2001 Toyota Camry and I haven't even implemented many hypermiling tips eiter, so I am curious as to how far I can push my fuel economy.

Thanks! God bless!

My 2001 Toyota Camry is considered a 9141 protocol....so does that mean the UG EM will work properly with my particular vehicle??? Just need to know. See bold italicized underlined quote from UG website below.

Thanks!

UltraGauge EM allows for up to 56 gauges to be easily accessed via its seven pages.

Will it be a separate model from the classic UltraGuage or will it be the same UG, just updated?

Thanks!
