UltraGauge and SYNC Equiped Fords
« on: March 07, 2011, 06:06:34 PM »
I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere.  I tried to run a "Vehicle Health Report" on my 2010 F150 today for the first time since installing UltraGauge.  I kept getting a response that the "report could not run" or something similar.  I tried three or four times with no success.

Then I got to thinking about the UltraGauge plugged into the ODBC data port might be a problem.  So I turned off the ignition,  unplugged the device and restarted.  After letting the engine run the required one minute, I executed the Vehicle Health Report one more time.

I then shut down,  replugged the gauge into the port and restarted.  It went through rediscovery again but seemed to have all current correct data.  This included a redefined gauge.

I have one question:  Did the unit save my calibration settings?

UG remembers all settings, accumulated data, and calibration, even when unplugged.
