Service Engine Light
« on: November 08, 2011, 09:58:10 PM »
Had my UG 6 months now.  Already disappointed that it doesn't show battery voltage on my two vehicles.  Then, today needed to turn off Service Engine light and it doesn't do that either! Looked in documentation and it does say that you may not be able to do it on some vehicles "especially older model Chrysler products". My "older model" is a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country--a pretty popular car since the Dodge Caravan is exactly the same.

Service light and check engine light are 2 separate items.  Service light is more fer oil changes, timing belt, etc...  ;)

Yer gonna probably have to find another way of resetting the Service light...  ;)

You're right, of course, bamzippow.  Can't believe I was that sloppy. Can only plead a senior moment at age 83! :-[  I meant the check engine light.
