Trouble codes UG to MB
« on: January 24, 2012, 07:42:44 AM »
2011 MB Sprinter 2500 w/3L? engine.

Last Wednesday while on a trip the check engine light came on while idling along side the road (problem with trucks brakes, not mine, the load drivers).

Turned the engine off and restarted, light still there. Checked codes (there were two which I didnít write down). No apparent loss of power and the next morning the light didnít come on. Checked the codes again and there was one pending P20B8.

Yesterday went to local MB dealer to check but they donít have any cross references to any other sources.

Is there, somewhere, a cross reference from the UG codes and other vehicle brands (specifically UG to MB)? Or can someone tell me what the UG code is in MB speak? What Iíd really like is UG to MB code reference for Sprinters.

These are not UG codes, UG is just relaying the codes from your Sprinter.

Just do a Google search, there are plenty of hits on that code:

"Reductant Metering Unit Heater Control Circuit High"
