Someone clarify or confirm please- anyone.
On page 36 step 3, when you enter the gallons used and record the calibration factor and you zero the MPG is this when I would go in and enter the factor or will it be retained?

The factor is not something your enter....it is simply information.
If you follow the steps in the manual strictly, you should have no issue. Just remember to exit the menu system once the calibration begins.

So, follow the procedure on page 30 of the manual, but make sure you are back at one of the pages BEFORE you start the calibration?
