Admin, what is happening or has happened on the home front in regards to the new memberships problem?

It would seem that since your post on the subject the whole Forum has all but ground to a standstill.  :o :o

The forum was attacked over a long period of time in such a way that thousands of fake accounts were created.   Also, despite our best efforts, users were still posting support issues.  This forum was just consuming too much support bandwidth.  So we disabled new registration and have been debating if we should discontinue the forum all together.

Have you thought of appointing a Forum Mod or 2 from the more regular and knowledgeable Forum Members to help out or is the bandwidth just too big a problem?

UltraGauge Admin, is this Forum to continue or are you going to pull the plug on it?, the reason I ask is because there has been little to no posts over the past 4 weeks, it's like everybody is waiting with baited breath to see what the future holds for the Forum.
