Best selection of gauges for troubleshooting engine trouble
« on: January 04, 2013, 06:51:28 PM »
What would be the best selection of gauges for troubleshooting my engine? I have a problem with engine bogging down almost as if it is running out of fuel, about a minute after startup and driving away. THis occurs just after car's computer goes from open loop to closed loop. It is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 LTD, with automatic trans. Brand new engine was recently installed. Also is there a way to get it to monitor Camshaft Position Sensor? That's the pickup inside the distributor, not the Crankshaft position sensor on the bellhousing. Suggestions? Thanks!
