A few question on mind
« on: July 18, 2013, 08:00:46 PM »
I just received the unit today and installed it on a 2012 mazda 3 which I know the issue with ultragauge powering off.
I tried several power off mode and it seems like mode 5 does shut off but only if I turn the key to "on" position after i shut off the car. Then when I ignite the car the fuel gauges along with several other gauges would not be detected, had to unplug and plug again to have it detect all 63 gauges.

So for those mazda 3 owners, which power on/off modes you guys using to have it working properly?

Another question is that do i need to calibrate the fuel trim? I am running with 18" wheels now so i guess i should do it?
The instruction is clear in the manual but for the "next fill up", do i have to wait till the tank is almost empty then fill up again?

Alright, I solved the shut off problem :D

still would like to know about the calibration.

Another thing is if I unplugged the device will it reset the calibration?

Only the speed/distance and fuel usage can be calibrated.  Please see the users manual.

UG can be unplugged without losing calibration, configuration and accumulated data
