Few gauges found

If the ignition switch is switched off during the gauge discovery phase, few gauges may be found.

The ignition must be in the RUN position prior to and during both scanning and gauge discovery.
The ignition switch is the on/off switch for the vehicle's main computer (ECM). It is the ECM that UltraGauge communicates with.  If the ignition is not in the "Run" position, the ECM is off and communication is not possible.

It may be possible that the vehicle's computer is busy performing a self test when first switched on.  Try placing the ignition to the RUN position, wait 20 seconds, then attach UltraGauge.  Once UltraGauge initially discoverers the available gauges, this process will not need to be repeated.

Please note that some diesel vehicles inherently support few gauges
